What’s in your game plan
Four questions, answered for your move
01
Buy or rent?
It comes down to how long you will be here. If it is three years or more, buying often makes sense. Less than that, renting can be the smarter move. We run the numbers for your situation.
02
Where should we live?
Columbus, Phenix City and Harris County each trade off taxes, schools and the commute to post. We show you which neighborhoods fit, in person or by video tour if you are still overseas.
03
Can we qualify?
Most people who think they cannot qualify have never asked a lender. We connect you with a loan officer who works with PCS buyers. If you are not ready yet, you leave with a 3 to 6 month plan to get there.
04
How do we write a strong offer?
When a seller is motivated, your offer can ask for more: closing costs, your agent’s compensation and a home warranty for the first year. The goal is the least cash out of your pocket.
Kelsey and I are an Army family. We have PCS’d, bought on a report date and made this move ourselves, so the plan we send is the one we would want.

We are not lenders. Whether and how you qualify depends on the lender and the loan program, so treat anything here as general education, not a loan decision.
